River Side Suite #101 at the Mystic River Inn

Incredible location and even better accommodations. The best Vrbo we have ever stayed at.

We had a great time and loved being able to walk everywhere! The suite was modern and spotless. I highly recommend Mystic River Inn!

Location was perfect, room was beautiful, clean and spacious. My only complaint is the $70 “check in” charge. I’m not sure what that covers, and I wasn’t aware of that extra charge.

The Mystic River Inn was a wonderful last minute getaway. My husband and I have very little vacation time alone and choose to stay in places that are not “cookie cutter” style accommodations. We were not disappointed in The Mystic River Inn. Our suite was perfect, with a lovely sitting area and separate bedroom area. The decor just hinted at being near the water, without being overdone in the tacky way some seashore areas are. None of that here! Just calm and peaceful decor, navy blue and white. The rooms were spotless, and well appointed. We had a microwave, small refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee maker. An armoire is provided for hanging clothes, as well as two hooks in the hallway. Our rooms had a great view of the river, and were very bright. If you need to have complete darkness at night to sleep well I suggest bringing a sleep mask to block out the lights from the street. The Mystic River Inn is close enough to walk to the many restaurants and shops in town, and the drawbridge there is an amazing piece of engineering to see. Mystic Seaport Museum, Olde Mystic Village shopping area, and Mystic Aquarium are all a short drive away. Newport Rhode Island and all of the Gilded Age mansions are a great day trip away. In short, The Mystic River Inn is a perfectly delightful place to stay. My husband and I hope to come back soon.

On my drive to Boston from DC I was thrilled to find this place. The room was brand new and really well put together. Easy and friendly virtual check in. And what a cool town! I’ll be back and won’t stay anywhere else. It was perfect.
