Schooner Suite #203 at the Mystic River Inn

Room was impeccably clean. Mattress and linens were high quality. However, only two thin bath towels were provided which seemed odd given the quality of the bed linens. Additionally, the shower leaked profusely from under the threshold after each use leaving a significant amount of water on the bathroom floor. We were also disappointed that heat was not available until October 1st. Arriving during the nor'easter with the weather being quite cold and wet, it was disappointing not to be able to heat the room.

The room is clean and has everything as promised. Great location. Parking was fantastic and the Tesla charger was an exceptional bonus. Absolutely would stay again. Would love if the room had black out curtains as on a nice, bright, sunny day the room gets quite bright too.

Too bright Positive: New apartments in a central location Negative: No staff, hadn't been sent codes or information to access. Insufficient window coverings that wouldn't close or block out the street lights. So many lights on gadgets in the room that it was like sleeping in a light show, hence didn't get any sleep even after covering all windows and switches.

Mystic is a highly sought location and we were fortunate to have found this location. The check in was super easy. We parked a little early and had a chance to walk around downtown. Location location location!!! There is plenty of space for storing clothes. It was a little tight to store luggage for a quick overnight. Else. We were quite pleased Well done.

Location was everything!! A block from downtown shops and restaurants. I will say owners/staff should leave you ample towels, coffe pods/creamer based on number of nights. We had 2 towels for two people for 2 nights, it’s always nice to have access to extra.
